Joeseph Turner

CASE MANAGER & ALUMNI PRESIDENT

Hello, I am Joe Turner. I am the Case Manager as well as the Alumni President here at APR. I am a proud High School graduate from The Canton McKinley Bulldogs. I have my Associate’s degree in Human and Social Services from Stark State College. I have both my Bachelor’s degree and Master’s Degree from the University of Akron. I spent 18 years in the Juvenile Justice Field and just recently transferred over to adults with addiction. I am currently an Adjunct Instructor at Stark State College where I teach Substance Abuse, Human Behavior, Social Welfare, and Social Work Practice. I am also one of the associate Ministers at First Church of God in Christ.

No Matter where I am, or what I am doing, my passion is to help. I am a firm believer in as long as you are alive, you have hope. That is why I enjoy going above and beyond to help because sometimes people just do not see the potential they have to overcome life’s struggles.
